European states announced the new methods against the gas crisis

The Ukraine made a new offer for the gas transit in 2010.
Following the conclusion of the Russian-Ukrainian gas conflict the EU member states promised to take extreme measures to avoid the recurrence of similar crisis, reported AFR.
It was in particular noted in Poland they are planning to build one or two nuclear power plants by the year of 2020. There are no nuclear power plants in Poland now.
Moreover, Poland is planning to get ready a new sea port for admitting tanks with liquid gas. It would enable Poland to purchase fuel from Kuwait and Qatar. And Croatia is planning to build another two gas repositories in addition to the existing one.
Romania is considering, accordingly, that EU countries have to elaborate a single position on energy security. This country has noted in particular the project Nabucco – the gas pipeline from Caspian countries to Europe bypassing the territory of Russia.
Slovakia has calculated earlier that local industries suffered damages during the gas crises amounting to one hundred million euros per day. In relation to this Slovakia supported the idea of initiating claims by the European Union against the Ukraine and Russia.
