The Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (IPA) “Ukraine-Poland-Lithuania” will be held on 21 – 23 March in Kiev, as reported by Vladimir Litvin, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, on 15 February at the opening of the fifth IPA “Ukraine-Poland” meeting in Kiev, stated the press service of the Parliament.
According to his words, the meeting will be devoted for discussing the issues related to the humanitarian sphere “as the factor of the European identity of the EU Member States, and the “neighbouring countries” to the EU.
According to the words of the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament, “we addressed the President of the European Parliament with the proposal of initiating a meeting for the Ukrainian, Polish and Lithuanian Speakers with the MEP’s and the leadership thereof, for involving more actively the Ukraine into European issues through such forms of cooperation”.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine filed a lawsuit in the UN International Court of Justice against Russia within the framework of the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism and the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, says the site of the Foreign Minister.
