Moscow proposes UN Security Council to adopt a resolution for the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in the zone of the fall of the Malaysian "Boeing", said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
"When we hear on the background of these obvious facts the calls for Russia to provide access for international experts to the site of the accident, I just have no other reaction as to suggest the Security Council to adopt resolution, if they believe that only Russia can do it; let them pass the resolution, inviting Russia to deploy its peacekeeping forces and to ensure the security perimeter around the crash site. If anything else can be achieved with the Kiev authorities"- quoted Lavrov the site of the MFA of the Russian Federation.
"Administration of the United States, creating the appearance of strained "sequence" in its current behavior, is in fact merely trying to avoid the responsibility for the tragic developments in Ukraine. Not Russia, but the Kiev regime and its overseas patrons are guilty of the growing number of civilian casualties in the Eastern regions. In its pompous prosecutorial manner the White House, covering the bloody military operation of Kiev, which, contrary to all international norms, has sunk to rocket attacks on civilian towns and continues to put forward groundless claims against us.
One gets the impression that the American pressure of sanctions, transformed now at sectoral level, has the only goal - to get even with us for an independent and inconvenient for Washington policy. Please, also note the obvious elements of unscrupulous trade and economic competition in the actions of the United States."
