Russian experts started working on clarifying the causes of the crash of the Malaysian aircraft.
International Commission headed by representatives of the Netherlands sent an official invitation to Russia to join the investigation of the wreck of the Malaysian "Boeing 777" in the Donetsk region.
Under current ICAO standards, Russia, not being a party to the accident, could not participate in the work together with other experts before receiving an official invitation.
"The invitation was sent a few days ago", - said the Spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich. According to him, Russian representatives were assigned straight away, who immediately started to work.
The Ukrainian President has earlier ordered to invite Russian experts to participate in the investigation, to make it as transparent as possible, noted the Head of State during the visit to the Embassy of Malaysia in Ukraine.
