Ukraine has started the procedure to bring Russia to justice at the International Court of Justice of the United Nations for violating the Convention on the Prevention of Terrorism.
This was stated by Prime Minister Yatsenyuk during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, writes “Glavkom”.
"We have initiated the process of bringing Russia to justice at the UN International Court of Justice for violating the Convention on the Prevention of Terrorism. Russia is a state-terrorist and a state-aggressor and shall be liable in accordance with the international law,"- said Yatsenyuk.
He also reminded that Ukraine has filed lawsuits against Russia, including at the ECHR, for the total amount of more than 1 trillion Ukrainian hryvnias for the damage.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine filed a lawsuit in the UN International Court of Justice against Russia within the framework of the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism and the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, says the site of the Foreign Minister.
