  Lukashenko sees no problem in Ukraine’s signing the agreement with the EU

The President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko sees no problem in that Ukraine signs the association agreement with the EU. The Belarus leader stated this on 7 October in Minsk meeting on Monday with the Prime Minister of the Ukraine Nikolaj Azarov.

  Lithuanian analogue to Latvijas gāze left without tube

The owner of gas pipes and gas supplier to Lithuania - Lietuvos dujos - shared business according to the EU Third Energy Package. Lietuvos dujos will be engaged in supply, and the new structure - Amber Grid - will own the pipes. In Latvia, monopoly of the local Latvijas gāze is maintained until at least 2017.

 
 
  Five countries have signed the Treaty on Rail Baltica in Vilnius

  The Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference opened in Estonia

Ukraine has filed a lawsuit against Russia in the International Court of Justice for terrorism and racism (4)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine filed a lawsuit in the UN International Court of Justice against Russia within the framework of the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism and the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, says the site of the Foreign Minister. This is done on the instructions of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, issued on 16 January.
